Treatment for Adult Men

We are pleased to offer a full range of eating disorder treatment options for men suffering with eating disorders. The occurrence of male eating disorders is becoming even more common with at least 1 in 10 cases of eating disorders now occurring in men. At McCallum Place, men are able to receive treatment at all of our levels of care.  Our intake department is available to provide a free and confidential assessment to help determine what level of care is appropriate for you.  Whether it’s our 24 hour residential program, extended or traditional PHP (partial hospitalization programs) or IOP (intensive outpatient program), we are happy to work with you.

What Our Treatment Program Offers Adult Men:

Board-Certified Psychiatrists
in child, adolescent, and in adult psychiatry on-site at least five days per week to guide treatment of co-occurring conditions, such as OCD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, addictions, PTSD, and depression.

Evaluation & Treatment Of Medical Issues
such as diabetes, IBS, asthma, seizures, reflux, osteoporosis, dehydration, gastroparesis, bradycardia, hypotension, and metabolic disturbances. Cared for on-site by our board-certified primary care physician.

Best Practices & Evidenced-Based Treatment
combining traditional and experiential group and individual psychotherapies teaching cognitive skills, mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation, while also addressing core concerns, such as body image, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and adult development.

Individual Nutritional Support & Meal Coaching
One on one, in groups, cooking classes, self-portioning, and restaurant outings multiple times a week.

Easy Access To World Class Medical & Psychiatric Care
if inpatient stabilization is necessary or should become needed for a brief period of time.

As painful as it is to be here and do what they’re asking, I don’t think I’d be able to do it without the McCallum Place support. You don’t have to know how to fix it, just be willing to listen and try their suggestions.
