Rachel Albers, RD, LD
Rachel received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship through the Missouri Department of Senior Services. After becoming a Registered Dietitian, Rachel worked as a consultant where managed the nutritional care of patients at several long-term care facilities and rural hospitals in central and southern Illinois. She also spent time providing outpatient counseling and community outreach classes for rural communities in Illinois. Rachel previously worked as a clinical dietitian for SSM St. Clare Hospital where she provided medical nutrition therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings. At McCallum Place, Rachel works with both adolescent and adult patients in residential and partial hospitalization settings. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Rachel strives to help patients find a balanced relationship with food through moderation and flexibility in order to achieve optimal health.
