Monica Bishop, M.D.
Adult Psychiatrist and Medical Director
Dr. Bishop received her Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to receive her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, where she also completed her residency training in general psychiatry. Dr. Bishop then completed a 3 year post-doctoral research fellowship with Denise Wilfley, Ph.D. in the Weight Management and Eating Disorders Program at Washington University, focusing on studies of binge eating disorder, anorexia nervosa, childhood obesity, and interpersonal and family therapies for treatment of eating disorders.
In addition to working with McCallum Place, Dr. Bishop is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Washington University. Dr. Bishop is involved in clinical teaching and supervision of Washington University residents and medical students as the Director of Consult Psychiatry and as an attending on the inpatient psychiatry unit.
