Darby McBride earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, her Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Wildlife Biology, and her Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and is also nationally certified. She is a member of the Missouri Mental Health Counselors Association. Darby has worked in outpatient, community, and school settings, primarily with children, adolescents, groups, and families, on various concerns related to depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, and self-injury. She uses cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches, as well as mindfulness and meditation techniques, to encourage the cohesion of physical, emotional, and spiritual health for a blissfully balanced life.
