Christopher Bachmann, MT-BC
Christopher Bachmann is a Board Certified Music Therapist. Christopher received his Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from Maryville University. After earning his degree from Maryville University, Christopher completed his clinical internship at St. Louis University Cancer & Research Center, focusing on the use of classical cello and guitar to address the emotional stress and trauma undergone by the families and the patients diagnosed with varying types of cancers, as well as patients undergoing transfusions and bone marrow transplants. Outside of his work at McCallum Place, Christopher specializes in the use of music therapy in forensic psychiatric treatment with a wide variety of diagnoses. This combined experience from working in mental health and the medical field has driven Christopher into providing his own therapeutic style, focused on using music to improve and maintain overall physical and mental wellness for patients through non-invasive, music-based interventions.
