Eating Disorder Programs | Insurance Information

We gladly accept and work with your insurance by checking benefits, updating your insurance company regarding progress, submitting claims, and helping pursue reimbursement.

McCallum Place is an in network provider for many types of Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna Health plans and Mercy. McCallum Place is not licensed as a Medicare or Medicaid provider. For those patients who are out-of-network, some or all of the cost of treatment may still be covered by your insurance company. We will happily investigate your plan to determine to what extent you can utilize benefits.  Also, if you are out of network, McCallum Place will submit claims on your behalf to your insurance company so that you may receive reimbursement from your insurance company up to the limits of your insurance coverage.

We always attempt to pre-certify treatment with your insurance company. Almost all of our patients receive some level of reimbursement from their insurance companies, but insurance reimbursement varies widely by company and coverage type. It is a good idea to consult your insurance company directly prior to admission to determine what level of insurance reimbursement you can expect. We also gladly do this! Please call our Admissions Clinicians, Liz or Monique, to help you every step of the way.

TIP: We have found families that advocate for themselves with insurance companies have the best success in obtaining the coverage and length of stay they need.  Thus, we strongly recommend you get involved alongside us during this process. We, too, will do everything in our power to help you access your benefits to support your treatment and connect you with resources on how to advocate for treatment with your insurance provider.
