Eating Disorders Treatment Facility
McCallum Place has been designed by a
psychiatrist with many years of experience treating
individuals with eating disorders. We are licensed by the
Department of Mental Health and aim to provide full
medical and psychiatric treatment.
Residential Center
Individuals entering our 24-hour care
programs stay in a home-like setting. Our residential
center, located in Kirkwood, MO, is just a short walk from the communitys downtown
amenities, including the farmers market, unique shops and
entertainment. This healthy atmosphere offers a privacy
and freedom not possible in traditional hospital settings.
Transition House
Our transition house, located in Delmar, MO, provides a safe and nurturing
environment that helps ease residents back into
independent living. The transition house, which
accommodates up to six patients, has five bedrooms, two
dining areas, two living rooms and a two-story deck
overlooking a beautifully landscaped private yard. Two
levels of transitional care and individual nutritional
therapy help patients develop the skills they need to
regain their health and independence.
Day Treatment Suite
The day suite, located in
Webster Groves, MO, offers privacy and freedom with its
convenient and secure surroundings. It is in walking
distance to many hotels, stores and restaurants. The day
suite provides a relaxing setting by overlooking Shaw
Park. Also, the day suite offers a beautiful group room
that was specifically designed for movement, dance and
yoga. This day suite was also designed for monitoring,
support and therapy for patients in the day treatment programs. While in this level of care, patients
may live at home or stay at one of many nearby hotels.
